Scope of Work

Manager of Credit and Collections scope of work encompasses the system and processes necessary to evaluate new and existing Customers’ credit wothiness, improve the timeliness of the collection of amounts invoiced, and safeguard the assets of the Company by minimizing and balancing the level of risk accepted as it relates to receivables without unnecessarily constraining credit sales transactions.

 

Major Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Review and approval of new customer applications for completeness and credit worthiness.
  • Assignment and ongoing maintenance of customer credit limits.
  • Review and release of customer orders to production and release of orders for shipments as necessary for those customers for which such a review is required.
  • Identification of customer risk at an early stage; contacting and communicating with customer regarding delay in payment; facilitating prompt correction of invoice for invoicing errors if applicable; arranging payment plans and/or negotiating settlements for collection of accounts, etc.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of collection notes within the ERP system.
  • Review and approval of Credit Memos in accordance with Company policy.
  • Provide senior management with periodic reporting of risk accounts, collection progress and overall status.
  • Provide senior management with action plans for the reduction of DSO and periodic measurement of performance against that KPI.
  • Monthly review of accounts requiring specific reserve treatment for the purpose of establishing the allowance for doubtful accounts and supporting the month end reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with collection agencies and legal firms on collection efforts assigned to such 3rd parties.

 

 

  • Review of credit memo reason code assignment for propriety and subsequent analysis of Credit Memo by reason code raw data for the purpose of process improvement.  Coordination of process improvement initiatives in this area.
  • Manage and maintain the Company’s certificate of insurance issuance, renewals, etc.

 

Qualifications Required:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of credit and collection experience at a management level.
  • Advanced computer skills, including excel required. 
  • Detail-oriented, problem solver, with a professional attitude. 
  • Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines. 
  • Ability to be both a team player and work independently. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to deal with internal and external customers. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Koch Filter a Manufacturing Company located in Houston, Texas is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This is a great management opportunity with a successful, well-established company.  Functional Responsibilities and Required Qualifications are listed below: 


Scope of Work

This position will supervise personnel, workflow and equipment in various production assembly processes. Position requires a continuous level of production floor visibility and is responsible for production output volumes, quality of product, personnel scheduling, cost control, safety and 5S. 

 

Functional Responsibilities include:

  • Quality and appearance of various products being produced
  • Daily consistent production output
  • Production efficiency
  • Labor cost control
  • Must adjust output to production demands and keep lead-time low On time delivery (by completing schedules on time)
  • Building and grounds cleanliness and management
  • Personnel matters- position carries out and conducts performance reviews and disciplinary matters (with HR Mgr)
  • Inventory cycle counting
  • Position is hands on with entire day spent in the plant, checking hourly production progress and QC/appearance checks
  • Monitor and control scrap
  • Follow and maintain all implemented procedures
  • Handle all HSE aspects of the facility directly in cooperation with Corporate HSE Manager, including:

  1.  
    1. Monthly safety and environmental walks of grounds
    2. Monthly safety meetings with employees
    3. Handle any machine guarding needs as they arise with Corporate HSE Manager direction and aid
    4. Maintain all ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 needs as directed by Corporate HSE Manager

  • Have working knowledge of shipping and receiving duties

  • Responsible to make sure employees are following all safety procedures. 


Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • 2 years of college and/or 3-5 years experience.

Koch Filter Corporation, a Louisville manufacturing has an immediate opening for the position of Product Engineer 


Functional Requirement:

Product Development:

 

  • Determine; design all necessary raw materials for new products or products undergoing change
  • In conjunction with purchasing, production and sales, work with suppliers, to evaluate and qualify any sample raw materials with efforts to improve the product performance, cost, strength, etc. 
  • Air filter testing—arrange, conduct, and document all in-house air filter testing, UL testing, and AFTL (or other independent testing agency)
  • Determine product cost on special or custom items

Product Costing, Documentation, and Record keeping:

 

  • Determine, document, and maintain Part Numbers, Bills-of-Material, and costs on all Products
  • Document all special or custom item product costing
  • Establish and document Product Specifications and Drawings on all Products 
  • Determine and document Product Routings (plant assembly instructions) on all Products
  • Document all raw materials or other design changes—the change itself, effective date, and reason (quality, cost, performance, etc.)
  • Time studies of product lines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Corporate Materials Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • ME or IE from an accredited university.
  • Experience in the certification of products through a formal testing process and computer literate with knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment and manage projects in a timely fashion.
