Koch Filtration Corporation announced today that it will once again team with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the world’s largest breast cancer advocacy organization. Our mission is to raise awareness for the disease that affects one out of eight women during their lifetime. All Koch associates, our commercial and industrial distributors, the retail brand AllergyZone and suppliers in North America are excited to be part of Komen for the Cure’s promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
From August 1st, 2011 - October 31st, 2011, Koch Filter and their supply partners will renew the “PINK” Filtration Products Crafted with Pride in Kentucky”, campaign from its corporate and manufacturing office in Louisville, Kentucky.
Koch’s Multi-Pleat brand of high efficiency performing MERV 8 and MERV-A 8 thru MERV 13 air filters will be sold “PINK” in 20 different brands throughout North America starting August 2, 2010 through November 30, 2010 (October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month). The Multi-Pleat “PINK” air filters meet the Koch Green criteria for LEED (leadership, engineering, environmental, design), Reduces Energy Cost, Extends Filter Life Cycles, Conserves Resources and Improves Indoor Environmental Quality. Koch Filter is an Energy Star SPP (service and product provider) and Energy Star Partner. Our products are UL Certified Class 1 & 2 Standard 900 and meet ASHRAE 52.2-2007 Test Standard.
Koch Filter Corporation, will donate at least $30,000 from the sell of specially designed HVAC air filtration products to Komen organization in support of its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

Early detection of breast cancer is critical for women of all ages and we couldn’t think of a better way to bring attention to such an important cause by providing consumers, a High Efficiency Air Filter that improves the quality of air they breathe,” said David Koch, former President of Koch Filter Corporation.
