What you will do

for our Koch Air Filtration Products business. The region will cover IL, MN, and WI. Candidate must reside in Milwaukee or Chicago.

What you will do
You will be responsible for managing Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Continuous Improvement teams.
How you will do it
Enhancing, improving, and developing production equipment and production processes for all Koch Filter facilities:
- •Design of and installation of upgrades for better functionality
- •Lean implementation – standardized work, VSM, Hoshin-Kanri, Yamazumi

Automation Implementation

Maintenance functions including

Continuous Improvement and Lean related functions:
- •Ensuring CI/Lean plans are tracked and executed
- •Perform as the CI leader of the facility, leading efforts to identify and execute improvements
- •Implement Lean manufacturing concepts
- •Ensure Quality management system, including ISO-9001:2015, is executed
- •Execute concepts of the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System (JCMS) and perform as champion of JCMS concepts relating to Design for Manufacturing and Visual Factory.
- •Responsible for all Capex investment management, including upkeep of schedules, RFQ’s, timing, etc.

breaking down what line supervisors still have product in FGS and possibly help locate if it is still in their area
- •Send weekly reports to Materials Manager for review
- •Have the following Forklift Certifications "Sit-down, Standup and Picker" this is needed to do the daily tasks
- •Locate all of the items on the FGS report and make sure they are in the appropriate locations to be "allocated and picked"
Work on any Kenandy "Issues" for example "not enough quantity, caught in queue, no records found, etc" and put them in the appropriate locations to be "allocated and picked"
- •Work on "Returns" decide if they need to be re-boxed and relabeled or scrapped
- •Work with the conveyor belt employees to maintain the flow so they stay caught up.
- •Make sure that the Priority Location is cleaned out "daily"Clean up the locations "Within the system that have parts in (staging locations) with no orders for them."
This happens when orders are cancelled after the staging process.
- •Maintain the "blocked bins" and figure out why they were blocked.
- •Send out the "end of the day report" showing what FGS and empty bins started and ended.
- •Help with inventory counts "daily" with the Inventory Cycle Count Clerk
- •Help with the put away and receiving process of "Weekly" transfer trucks
- •Cross train others to fill in on other jobs
