What you will do He/she will work directly with end-users through distribution and within multiple channels managing an existing account base and soliciting new business opportunities for our Koch Air Filtration Products business. The region will cover IL, MN, and WI. Candidate must reside in Milwaukee or Chicago. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  1. •Establish rapport and develop solid relationships with key customer contacts.
  2. •Present training sessions to educate current customers and prospective customers about Koch Filter products.
  3. •Meet and exceed sales, price, and margin targets.
  4. •Maintain weekly sales reports in Salesforce.

What we look for
  1. •Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.
  2. •Minimum 2-3 years’ outside sales experience in the Air Filtration, HVAC industry and/or industrial sales.
  3. •Strong technical aptitude.

ENGINEERING MANAGER Job Number: WD30106971011

What you will do
You will be responsible for managing Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Continuous Improvement teams.

How you will do it
Enhancing, improving, and developing production equipment and production processes for all Koch Filter facilities:
  1. •Design of and installation of upgrades for better functionality
  2. •Lean implementation – standardized work, VSM, Hoshin-Kanri, Yamazumi
  3. •HSE compliance
  4. •Increased uptime
  5. •Decreased changeover times

Automation Implementation

Maintenance functions including
  1. •Task management

  1. •Some or all equipment design work, depending upon project scope and outside vendors
  2. •Procurement of equipment, including RFQ’s and all detailed specifications

  4. •Development of Capital projects, plans, and justifications including Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR)

Continuous Improvement and Lean related functions:
  1. •Ensuring CI/Lean plans are tracked and executed
  2. •Perform as the CI leader of the facility, leading efforts to identify and execute improvements
  3. •Implement Lean manufacturing concepts
  4. •Ensure Quality management system, including ISO-9001:2015, is executed
  5. •Execute concepts of the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System (JCMS) and perform as champion of JCMS concepts relating to Design for Manufacturing and Visual Factory.
  6. •Responsible for all Capex investment management, including upkeep of schedules, RFQ’s, timing, etc.
  7. •Responsible for creation and maintenance of operation standards including items such as instructions and time standards.
  8. •Responsible for implementation and maintenance of elements of standardized manufacturing systems.
  9. •Manage and track key metrics and develop, track, and execute action plans for continuous improvement
  10. •Engineering oversight for Koch’s network of production facilities.

What we look for
Required:
  1. •Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  2. •Minimum 10-year experience working in an engineering or technical role in a manufacturing environment
  3. •Minimum 3-year experience managing and Engineering, CI, or other technical team in a manufacturing environment

Required:
  1. •Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study.
  2. •Minimum 3-5+ years’ sales experience working with industrial distributors.

Inventory Control Lead Job Number: 2110019

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. •Be proficient with Excel
  2. •Organize count schedules for Raw and Finish Goods
  3. •Update Kenandy after counts are approved
  4. •Run Daily Reports (Finished Goods, Raw Goods, Empty Bins, Blocked Bins, Cycle Counts) Report out a daily "Finished Goods Report" breaking down what line supervisors still have product in FGS and possibly help locate if it is still in their area
  5. •Send weekly reports to Materials Manager for review
  6. •Have the following Forklift Certifications "Sit-down, Standup and Picker" this is needed to do the daily tasks
  7. •Locate all of the items on the FGS report and make sure they are in the appropriate locations to be "allocated and picked" Work on any Kenandy "Issues" for example "not enough quantity, caught in queue, no records found, etc" and put them in the appropriate locations to be "allocated and picked"
  8. •Work on "Returns" decide if they need to be re-boxed and relabeled or scrapped
  9. •Work with the conveyor belt employees to maintain the flow so they stay caught up.
  10. •Make sure that the Priority Location is cleaned out "daily"Clean up the locations "Within the system that have parts in (staging locations) with no orders for them." This happens when orders are cancelled after the staging process.
  11. •Maintain the "blocked bins" and figure out why they were blocked.
  12. •Send out the "end of the day report" showing what FGS and empty bins started and ended.
  13. •Help with inventory counts "daily" with the Inventory Cycle Count Clerk
  14. •Help with the put away and receiving process of "Weekly" transfer trucks
  15. •Cross train others to fill in on other jobs
  16. •Help organize returned goods

Overall Responsibilities This position is responsible for ensuring that quality data sheets are collected and documented appropriately. May conduct quality audits and prepare presentations that cover scrap metrics and non-conformance findings.
