OdorKleen ES Extended Surface Filter is a MERV 8 pleated panel filter designed to deliver a combination of particulate filtration and odor removal in a fully disposable unit.

The filter utilizes a dual-purpose multi-layer media engineered to capture airborne particulates while simultaneously removing odors and gaseous contaminants from the air stream.

The upstream layer provides mechanical filtration with an efficiency of 70% for particles in the 3 to 10 micron range, while the downstream layer is impregnated with activated carbon for effective removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The carbon media has a minimum activation of 60%, ensuring high odor absorption and extended filter life.

The pleated media is supported by a rugged, rustproof expanded metal grid, increasing surface area and dust holding capacity. The filter is housed in a rigid, high wet-strength beverage board frame, making it suitable for environments with high moisture levels where standard filters may fail.
